Meet the founder

Richa built the thing she wished she'd had.

Walnut started with one pattern, repeated for years, and the moment it finally made sense.

Chapter 1

Where it started

Growing up, Richa learnt that some unhealthy things were just normal. Nobody hands you instructions for relationships. You copy what you see.

Chapter 2

Same pattern, different people

Years later she noticed it. The same kind of person kept turning up: in friendships, at work, in love. Different faces, same story.

Chapter 3

The turn

Therapy gave her the missing piece. Her "picker" was off, and it was hers to change. As she rebuilt her relationship with herself, she started choosing differently.

Chapter 4

Too late

Talking to therapists, she kept hearing the same thing. Most couples reach them too late, once the patterns are set. So why not learn the skills first?

Chapter 5

So she built Walnut

Walnut puts learning before matching. Short lessons, real practice with Wally, and people doing the same work. Built with practising therapists, and light to use, even when the topics aren't.
